Just Water's road crew was one of the only reliable and dedicated crew on the punk circuit. Manager Ken Sanders and the Just Water roadies (especially Alan and Emil) wound up helping lots of bands, including The Planets, Mink Deville, and reggae star Max Romeo. The pay was "10 bucks a night or breakfast". One night Alan got black eyes for all of The Planets when he backed up the truck and knocked over a row of Harleys.
